Chalkboard panels are now de rigeuer in kitchens, playrooms, kids bedrooms, cafes and shops - but sometimes a black board doesnt quite work. Recently I redid the blinds in my sons room and wanted to put in a big chalkboard to cover a dodgy looking old wardrobe door. I ended up using one of Porters Paints great range of chalkboard paints. I particularly like the darker shades and used Sea Monster - an inky navy blue to tie in with the blind fabric Liguria Azul from KA International shown on the sofa below.
